I`m on my way!

In respect of the international darlings who may wish to read about my travel experiences, I will keep the up-coming blog-postings written in english. Solidarity, you see, is important! :)
Tomorrow is the day! The departure for Africa will take its place. I can`t belive that the day actually has arrived. It seems like yesterday I handed in the application form for this FK-project I am about to experience the very start of. Though alot has happended since then, we all know so far to well that time has an attendancy to fly away before we even get the time to open our minds and feel the life existence. This last week has been spent in Mandal, more precisely at Hald international conference and studycenter. We`ve been a group of 40 participants from different FK projects, including the 8 of us from Volda university college. The prepatory course went over most expectations, I must say! We`ve been through lections in different relevant subjects and topics, when it comes to travelling to foreign cultures for a longer period of time. The lecturers have had cultural sensitivity; important with students from different countries and thereby cultures. Most of us where norwegian participants travelling abroad, but quite a few were newly arrived from Madagascar, The Phillippines, China, Afghanistan and Bangladesh. To be honest, I`m at the moment to tired and full of thoughts to sit here and tell constructive stories and encountances from the days gone by at Hald. Tonight I will prosumably dream so many wierd dreams that I`ll wake up at night, think I`m in Afrika and jump head first out of my upper bunk. So long!
